The November Dinner and Recognition Event was postponed due to the pandemic surge. It will be rescheduled for spring of 2022, most likely in May. Check back in February for an update.

We will cover two topics that will provide you with current information on compliance:
(1) The State of Montana’s rules for conducting raffles and an introduction to other fundraisers regulated by the Gambling Control Division of Montana Department of Justice, and
(2) Registration in all states where your nonprofit engages in fundraising activities. This is known as Charitable Solicitation Registration and most states have varying levels of registration requirements. (North Dakota is the only state that has no requirements, having abolished them in 1951). We will also cover third-party providers that can help streamline this process.
